​NCI-Frederick National Cancer Institute at Frederick Located on Fort Detrick Frederick, MD NCI-Frederick and NCI-Frederick Green Team

The National Cancer Institute at Frederick (NCI-F) conducts basic and applied biological research in cancer and AIDS mechanisms and treatment. Research includes histological work and animal production. Operations and activities with potential environmental impacts include labs, animal cage washing, boilers, emergency power generators, chillers and fuel/oil storage. NCI-F is located at 1050 Boyles Street in Frederick, MD and encompasses approximately 46 acres with 104 buildings and 2,300 employees.
