Description: The World Wildlife Fund will host a variety of activities, starting with making your own tiger mask! We hope that the kids decide to get in the spirit of 'Wear your Stripes' today so that we can contribute to those outfits with some fun animal face masks. The second activity is a trivia game. We will test the group's knowledge about tigers and hopefully teach them some new facts about the largest living cat species! We are hoping to have the children interact during this part of the event by raising their hands in the meeting or by responding to the questions in the chat. The third component is helping kids determine what they can do to help protect the environment! We will be describing easy actions that kids can take to make changes in their daily lives that contribute to helping the Earth. We hope that this will help them see how they can directly have an impact.
Materials for this activity:
A Printed Mask (see the "Files" section for the print-out)
Coloring utensils
Scissors
String to tie the mask around your head
Glue and a long stick (dowel rod or chopstick; if you prefer to hold up the mask rather than tie it)
Glitter and other fun bedazzlers if you want to get creative!
