​ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Ordered 50 (blue) desk side recycling bins for distribution to staff.
• Encouraged all purchase cardholders and approving officials to attend the annual Green Procurement Refresher.
• New printers have been set up to print two-sided.
• Paper used by employees has been reduced along with reminders on recycling paper.
• Some lights in offices in Building 31 were replaced with energy saving lights.
• Added “Turn off the Lights” stickers to all light switches in Bldgs. 10, 50, 31, and One Democracy.
• The NIAMS Green Team participated in the NIH Earth Day Celebration.
