Required Information for a Process Batch Discharge Request
Please provide information for the items below:
- Supply Line Use (air conditioning, domestic water source, chilled/steam process, fire suppressant, etc.):
- Frequency of operation (daily, continuous flow-closed loop, emergency only, etc.):
- Reason for the Discharge Request:
- Request Date for the Discharge:
- Time and Duration of Discharge:
- Discharge Flow Rate (in gpm):
- Chemical Name (Generic and Manufacturer’s): if there will be any toxin or hazardous material expected in the waste stream, please provide detailed description of the material and expected concentration. Be advised that regardless of the concentration, WSSC may not approve a Process Batch Discharge Request if they have a concern.

- Provide MSDS/SDS for each chemical to be used (no request will be accepted without MSDS/SDS):
NO DISCHARGE SHOULD TAKE PLACE UNTIL WSSC APPROVES THE REQUEST THROUGH NIH-DEP. This request is to be submitted AT LEAST a week prior to the discharge request date.
